DHI is currently seeking an experienced

Heavy Equipment Operator

to safely operate various machinery -- including

front-end loaders

and

backhoes

-- for snow plowing and removal operations. This position includes

monthly standby pay

during the winter season.

Responsibilities

Operate front-end loaders, backhoes, and other heavy equipment for snow plowing and removal Follow all company and safety protocols while operating equipment Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance to ensure equipment is in proper working condition Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational goals Adhere to project schedules and deadlines

Requirements

Minimum

2 years of experience

operating front-end loaders and backhoes Must be

available 24/7

during the winter season and able to work long hours during snow events Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of heavy equipment operations Ability to read and interpret blueprints or site plans Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness Physical stamina and ability to work in all weather conditions Valid

driver's license

with a clean driving record Clean Criminal record

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 4.5 months

Pay: $34.00-$35.00 per hour
