Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Seasonal Equipment Operator! We are seeking a reliable and skilled individual to assist with various tasks, with a primary focus on garbage truck operation and snow removal during the winter season. This position requires flexibility and the ability to operate a range of equipment, including but not limited to snowplow, backhoe, and garbage truck.

Responsibilities

Operate snowplows and other equipment to clear driveways, parking lots, and walkways. Ensure safe and efficient snow removal practices. Operate a variety of equipment, including backhoes, garbage trucks, and other machinery as required. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality. Operate garbage truck as scheduled. Follow safety protocols and guidelines during all operations. Be available for on-call duty during specified shifts, especially during winter weather conditions. Respond promptly to emergency calls for snow removal services.
Qualifications:

Previous experience operating snow removal equipment, backhoes, and garbage trucks preferred. Valid driver's license Class 3 with airbrakes with a clean driving record. Ability to work flexible hours and be on call for emergency situations. Strong attention to safety protocols and guidelines. Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting, bending, and prolonged outdoor exposure. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Ability to obtain a criminal background check
Wage: $20.00-$22.00 per hour.
