TAG Hardware designs, engineers and manufactures consumer products for the modular furniture industry. Our 30,000 square foot manufacturing plant is located in South Surrey. The facility houses plastic injection molding machines, assembly work stations and a warehouse, where we assemble our patented products for delivery globally.

About the Role -




The Material Handler / Equipment Operator (Forklift) will be responsible for the accurate moving, locating, relocating, and storing of materials, utilizing a forklift or other power operated equipment.

Operate all power operated equipment safely and efficiently. Must have demonstrated competence in standup and sit down counterbalance machines. Move all product safely and efficiently (Including loading and unloading trucks) Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area Ensure all items are restocked according to established procedures Work with team on correct product placement Maintain warehouse order to ensure pallet locations are kept available for incoming items Pick and pack items accurately for shipment, potentially with a forklift Label and prepare items for shipment Complete required paperwork and project time-tracking documentation Perform daily safety checklist and standard battery charging procedure Assist in cycle counting and periodic inventories Assist team members in meeting and exceeding customer expectations Update supervisor and team lead on issues or concerns Participate in process Improvement by communicating to supervisor and/or team lead Mandatory overtime may be required based on workflow All other duties as assigned

Work Hours and Benefits




This is a full-time afternoon shift position as a part of our Warehouse Team. Days of work are Monday to Friday. 230pm-11pm. In addition to being a great place to work, we offer the following benefits:

Personal Qualifications




The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications and attributes:

Passionate problem solver, inquirer, learner Hard working, dedicated and reliable Safety first mindset Great attention to detail and maintaining accuracy of shipments Works well in a team environment Good communication skills, proficiency in spoken English Basic math and reading skills, must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions in English. Previous warehouse/manufacturing experience required Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds solo and greater weights in a team-lift environment Physical requirements include: lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time, ability to handle heights Experience in a small to medium sized operation with less than 100 employees Current forklift certification, swing reach truck certification is preferred Relevant education, including first aid training / forklift certifications Valid BC Driver's License Access to reliable transportation to get to work * If not previously fork lift certified, the candidate must meet the eligibility requirements for In-House Machine Operator training which include - BC Drivers License, demonstrated safety first mentality, good spatial awareness and willingness to learn new skills.
