Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.

SUMMARY

The Heavy Equipment Operator is involved in the operation of various pieces of equipment to move and load/unload materials such as pipes and fittings. This work exists primarily outdoors and may be physically demanding.

Edmonton, AB Fabrication Shop

Anticipated Start Date:

September 1, 2025

Shift:

4&3 (10-hour days) or 5&2 (8-hour days)

Hourly Rate:

$28.10 (Exclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health and welfare, RSP, RSP Matching, and education and training)

JOB DUTIES

Comply with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards Operate various pieces of equipment, including but not limited to forklift, CAT loader, Pettibone Move materials/equipment, snow, and dirt Load/unload materials Complete pre-job equipment inspections Conduct safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings May perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be in possession of a valid operator's card for the equipment utilized Must have previous experience operating equipment on an industrial work site Experience working in tight spaces is considered an asset CSTS-09 and/or CSTS-20 Forklift Ticket Front End Loader Certificate Zoom Boom Ticket Able to work well with limited or no supervision Organized and self-motivated Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
