., is a Road Construction, Maintenance, Reclamation, and Trucking company operating in Southern Alberta area for over 45 years.

We are looking for an experienced professional Excavator/Bulldozer Operator to join our team for a large multi-year reclamation project just North of Calgary.

We are looking for high end operators, if that sounds like you, we want to meet with you ASAP.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate Excavator/Bulldozer and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.

Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment including routine cleaning to ensure smooth operation of equipment.

Precisely operate equipment based on need and direction of site Foreman.

Ensure a sound understanding of work involving ground disturbance.

Operate equipment in the working area, level the surface to the specified grade and move/remove material as instructed.

Ensure equipment is being operated properly to ensure safe working conditions.

Operate heavy equipment and other construction related duties as requested and required by the site Foreman/Manager.

REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE

Valid Driver's License (Class 5 or higher).

Minimum 5 years of experience within the pipeline, oilfield, earthmoving, reclamation, or road construction industry.

Minimum 5 years of proven experience operating Excavator/Bulldozer equipment including proper maintenance and safety procedures.

High knowledge of pipeline, oilfield, base construction, reclamation, underground, and/or road construction methods, heavy equipment operation and related industry requirements.

Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 kg on a regular basis.

Use of Personal Protective Equipment.

Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat, wind, rain, humidity, and exposure to dust.

Must reside in or be able to reasonably commute to site location just North of Calgary each day.

6 days per week, 10-12 hour shifts per day
Experience:

Minimum 5 years experience as an Excavator/Bulldozer Operator in large scale construction, pipeline, oilfield, underground, or reclamation projects. We are not looking for entry level operators. You must have proven experience, have a good attitude, strong references, and be reliable to work on our team with this project. Candidates with current tickets (H2S Alive, First Aid, Ground Disturbance Level II, CSTS/CSO, WHMIS) will be prioritized. Must be able to provide a clean Drug and Alcohol test.
