YOUR ROLE IN OUR TEAM: As an Equipment Operator in our Production Team, it will be your responsibility to ensure the proper functioning of the equipment and optimize operations.APPLY and JOIN our dynamic team in a fascinating high-tech environment facing new and exciting challenges daily.Position Overview:To support the daily operations by way of clearing system faults (technical or operational), identifying areas of improvement, and monitoring case throughout using system reports and dialogs.
Primary Job Functions:oClear machine faults in a timely and efficient manner using logicoRespect established procedures and policiesoAdhere to established fault escalation proceduresoKeep and ensure work area is clean, organized and free from debrisoReturn all products/cases outside of automation to designated areasoRegularly sweep floors, remove dust from and underneath equipment and panelsoSystem performance monitoring and operational status awarenessoLook for areas of improvementoEscalation of repetitive faultsoUse proper reports and camera angles depending on the job positionoProvide feedback of system performance at hand over meetingsoComplete the various checklists providedoAttend regularly scheduled improvement meetings (rotational basis)oRegularly refer to TS-Procedures in our TS-Cluster for a refresh on work procedures relating to your job function
oAdherence of 5S principalsoAttend pre-shift meetings and absorb information on the daily PowerPoint presentation
Qualifications:oNo specific technical education required but preferredoMinimum High School Diploma with a noted preference for a post-secondary trades certificate notably in automation or maintenance/mechanical/electrical/electronics related fieldsKnowledge/Experience Required:oTechnically and mechanically inclinedoPractical attitude and ability to learn new tasks, concepts and proceduresoPC skills in a windows environmentoMust be able to work at heights exceeding 20 metersoMust be able to work days, evenings and nights and weekends (After ramp up begins, preferred shifts will be assigned based on hire date)oAbility to travel if required for trainingoTraining in entry level electromechanics an asset
