Summary

As an Equipment Operator, you will be essential in the efficient operation of heavy machinery on construction sites, reporting directly to the Site Supervisor. Your core skills in excavator and heavy equipment operation will be vital for executing tasks safely and effectively. Along with mechanical knowledge, you will ensure optimal performance of equipment. Responsibilities:

Safely operate company vehicles, including towing trailers, while traveling to and from worksites

Perform equipment and vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, and general mechanic work

Perform rough grading and final grading tasks with precision and attention to detail

Utilize surveying techniques to ensure accurate and precise results.

Engage in light, moderate, and heavy lifting as required.

Qualifications:

Ability to reliably commute to the job site.

Previous experience in landscaping a heavy asset (2+ years preferred)

Mechanic experience and knowledge necessary

Skidsteer, minihoe, and rubber tire backhoe operations experience

. Lot grading experience

. Vault and pedistal installation.

Strong teamwork skills with the ability to thrive under pressure.

Possession of a clean driver's abstract

. Driving with a trailer.

Working Conditions:

Previous experience in landscaping or grading (1 year preferred)

Strong teamwork skills with the ability to thrive under pressure

Working out of town.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal
Contract length: 10 months

Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
