As the Zoom Boom and Skidsteer Operator you are expected to be engaged in our safety program, executing work in a safe manner, in adherence with CANA policies and all applicable code regulations and the Act.


YOU WILL:




Material Handling:

Moving dirt, gravel, snow, debris, and other construction materials around the site.

Site Preparation:

Assisting with grading, leveling, and prepping areas for concrete, landscaping, or building work.

Loading & Unloading:

Transporting materials to trucks, bins, or specific areas within the site.

Support to CANA team

Assisting concrete crews:

Moving concrete, gravel, or equipment; helping prepare pour areas.

Supporting carpenters or labourers:

Delivering pallets, tools, or structural materials.

Waste Management:

Collecting and moving scrap or debris to designated disposal or recycling areas.

Equipment Care & Safety

Pre-trip inspections:

Checking fluid levels, tire/tracks, hydraulics, and overall machine condition.

Safe operation:

Following site traffic patterns, maintaining communication with spotters, and ensuring safe travel near trenches, edges, or congested areas.

Attachment management:

Safely installing and removing attachments as required.

General maintenance:

Basic cleaning, minor repairs, and reporting mechanical issues.





YOU WILL NEED:




Skidsteer certification Zoom Boom certification Experience in: + Operation of both skidsteer and telehandler in a large construction site. + Concrete placing, finishing, curing, forming and stripping is an asset.
+ Various heating systems, such as propane, glycol, natural gas is an asset.
