Overview
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of machinery. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of equipment on job sites, contributing to the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities
Operate equipment including wheel loaders, bobcats and landscaping equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is stored properly after use. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks on the job site. Assist in training new operators on equipment usage and safety practices.
Skills
Proficient in operating wheel loaders, bobcats and plow trucks. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment. Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site requirements. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors. Previous experience in equipment operation is highly desirable.
