Equipment Attendant

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Lending out equipment in exchange for ID Set-up gyms for rental activities Provide facility information to guests Coordinate badminton rotations Supervision of the gyms
Administrative:
Attend any staff meetings/additional training Complete daily shift reports Answer any customer inquires and/or complaints
Risk Management:
Complete Incident Report Forms as required Maintain activity areas and equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety Perform first aid as required
Qualifications:
Current CSA Standard Z1210-17 Intermediate First Aid required, or willingness to obtain High 5 training is considered an asset Must be at least 16 years of age
Skills Required:
Ability to work in a large team environment Ability to work independently Good customer service skills Good communication and problem-solving skills Good planning and organizational skills
Physical/Psychological Demands:
Ability to work in a fast-paced noisy environment Ability to work inside as well as outside when required Ability to lift 20-25 lbs on a daily basis The successful candidate must hold high ethical standards as they are working with a vulnerable population and has access to confidential information Remote working not available for this position
Employment Term:
This is a year round part time position.
Evening and weekend work shifts available.
