Delaney Veterinary Services is a dedicated equine veterinary facility specializing in comprehensive care for horses. Our mission is to provide exceptional veterinary services, including emergency care and routine evaluations, ensuring the health and well-being of our equine patients.

Summary

We are seeking an energetic professional for long-term, full-time employment. The ideal candidate would be Veterinary Technologist with equine general anesthesia experience or interest.

Hours include regular clinic hours as well as emergency on-call rotation, but flexible work schedule could be accommodated. Competitive wage offered, clothing and continuing education allowance as well as employee discounted professional services and supplies.

The ideal candidate will:

Have strong horse handling experience Be self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented Work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team Have an interest in sports medicine, lameness, and surgery

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during examinations, procedures and surgeries. Provide treatments to patients in clinic Provide care and handling for horses in the clinic. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic. Assist with laboratory tests and record-keeping. Support emergency services as needed.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of equine care and handling. Licensed Veterinary Technologist Excellent communication skills with both team members and clients. Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
