About us

Whispering Hearts Horse Rescue Center is a critical care facility that cares for animals in need.

Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and maintenance for animals
- Ensure animals are fed, watered, and have clean living environments
- Monitor animal behavior and report any abnormalities or concerns to supervisor
- Administer medications or treatments as directed by veterinary staff
- Assist with handling and restraining animals for procedures or examinations
- Maintain accurate records of animal health, behavior, and treatments
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with animals required
- Knowledge of animal care and welfare practices
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols
- Strong attention to detail and ability to observe animal behavior
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
