839 - Indigenous Family Therapies



The Cultural Responsiveness Framework will guide the delivery of therapeutic services to Indigenous individuals, families, and communities. Students will develop an understanding of Indigenous family systems and their multigenerational issues. This course improves practitioners' therapeutic skills and knowledge of First Nations, Metis, and Indigenous people in Indigenous and Western contexts.
Position Requirements
Normally it is preferred that applicants will have a Ph.D. degree appropriate to the area of instruction. Applicants should also have experience in the education system appropriate to the content of the course applied for, knowledge of, and experience with the Saskatchewan curriculum, knowledge and experience with Faculty of Education programs, and current knowledge of issues related to the course for which the applicant has applied. Applicants should also have knowledge of, and experience in educational psychology and/or inclusive education, through research, teaching, and other scholarly experience. University teaching experience is an asset.
