Job Summary:
The EPICOR Implementation Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation, configuration, customization, and support of the Epicor ERP system across the organization. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, manufacturing, and IT to ensure EPICOR meets business needs and enhances operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead or support all phases of Epicor ERP implementation (planning, analysis, design, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and support).
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional Epicor solutions.
Configure Epicor modules including Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain, Production Planning, Inventory Management, Quality, and CRM based on user requirements.
Create and maintain system documentation, including process flows, configuration settings, and standard operating procedures.
Train end-users and develop training materials tailored to functional roles.
Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues and escalate when necessary.
Participate in data migration and ensure data integrity during system transitions.
Customize dashboards, reports, and BAQs (Business Activity Queries) using Epicor tools.
Collaborate with external consultants and vendors to ensure smooth implementation and system enhancements.
Provide ongoing support post go-live and lead continuous improvement initiatives for the ERP system.
Ensure system changes follow change management best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
3+ years of experience in EPICOR ERP implementation, configuration, and support (preferably versions 10 or Kinetic).
Strong understanding of manufacturing or distribution processes and workflows.
Proficient in Epicor tools: BAQ, BPM, Dashboards, SSRS Reports, DMT (Data Management Tool), etc.
Experience with SQL Server, data mapping, and integration tools is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Ability to train and support end-users with varying technical backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
Epicor certification or formal Epicor training is a plus.
Experience with third-party integrations and custom development within Epicor.
Prior involvement in full-cycle ERP implementation.
