Title:Environmental, Social and Governance Lead (ESG Lead)
Reports To: Executive Vice President & CFO
Location:Burlington, Ontario
The ESG Lead reports to the EVP & CFO and will be responsible for leading and advancing the implementation of Fix Network's Environmental, Social and Governance ("ESG") strategy and related initiatives. In this role the ESG Lead will work across both our corporate and franchise operations to deliver outcomes that support our stakeholders' interests and organizational goals. The ESG Lead will be required to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders including the leadership, franchisees, customers and more. They will have the opportunity to shape our approach, design and implement leading industry practices and advance Fix Network along our ESG journey.

Job Duties
Lead the implementation of the ESG strategy building the company's ESG profile and integrating ESG across the organization, including development and execution of the program and setting up target operating model, whilst managing the internal budget available for ESG initiatives
Leading the implementation of various specific ESG initiatives, working at both the corporate level and with our franchisees. These may involve circularity and waste, renewable energy sourcing, greenhouse gas quantification, policy writing and more.
Lead both formal and ad-hoc ESG data gathering and reporting to key stakeholders, such as our customers or the board.
Lead internal communication and engagement on ESG topics, including training, internal presentations and social media communications. Work across our network to to influence and communicate sustainability initiatives, and drive buy-in and awareness to achieve our objectives.
Develop and/or advise on the creation of both public and internal facing statements/policies relating to ESG matters.
Serve as the subject matter specialist in the organization on ESG leading practice, industry trends to support executive decision making
Actively participate in and represent Fix Network in industry associations and identify opportunities to apply emerging good practice.
Requirements
Director level candidate with 10+ years of relevant experience. Auto parts
industry or franchise model experience a plus.
Experience in sustainability leadership and implementing an ESG strategy and organization-wide initiatives across corporate operations
Experience with developing, gathering, analyzing and reporting ESG performance metrics, including greenhouse gas emissions and waste
Experience with development of ESG policies, frameworks, reports, or other disclosures
Bilingual, English/French an asset.
A strong cross-team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact and engage with various stakeholders including senior level decision-makers and more operational stakeholders
Ability to work independently, develop initiatives and lead implementation
Ability to deliver to tight deadlines and simultaneously manage multiple priorities and workstreams
