Ambipar Response Canada is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead and deliver environmental projects while ensuring safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and financial performance. This role works closely with the General Manager, Technical Team Leads, field staff, and clients.

What You'll Do




Develop project scopes of work, cost estimates, and schedules in collaboration with the General Manager Communicate and manage approved scope changes with clients Track budgets, forecasts, and project performance; provide regular updates to clients and leadership Assign and oversee field work, including safety, logistics, stakeholder coordination, vendor management, and technical execution Mentor, supervise, and develop field staff to ensure project objectives are met Ensure completion and submission of all required field documentation and safety records Provide site supervision and direction to contractors as required Maintain portfolio tracking, project status reports, and internal reporting tools Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and identify opportunities for operational improvement Remain current with environmental legislation and regulatory updates Review technical deliverables and ensure quality of all service outputs Manage invoicing, project coding, and financial projections to meet billing targets Create projects within accounting and internal systems as required Submit weekly resource and scheduling requests Support proposal development, technical submissions, and client engagement activities Participate in performance management, training, and quality review programs Complete additional duties as assigned

What You'll Bring




Bachelor's degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Land Reclamation, Agrology, Biology, or a related field Minimum 8 years of experience in environmental site assessments, contaminated site remediation, and/or reclamation At least 5 years of experience in a project management or leadership role Strong technical knowledge and understanding of industry best practices Professional designation with a recognized industry association Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
