Environmental Professional/field Supervisor
Job Description
Pathfinder Endeavours is now hiring an Environmental Professional/Field Supervisor to assist in implementing Integrated Vegetation Management Plans for lands associated with the Site C Project. This role is primarily field based, and the successful candidate will be required to work 10-day shifts in Ft. St. John from May through October.

Work Duties include:
Oversee site plan data collection
Coordinate operations on a complex and dynamic worksite
Formulate and implement daily work plans
Supervise crews, prioritize work
Identify, inventory and treat invasives weeds
Riparian Assessments
Ensure a safe work environment, including implementing safety plans
Adhere to safe work practices and foster a culture of safety
Maintaining regulatory compliance
GPS Traversing
Minimum Requirements:
Valid Drivers License and ATV experience
Valid BC Pesticide Applicator certification (or willing to get one)
Safety conscious
Physically fit and able to perform duties in a variety of weather and terrain conditions while carrying a backpack sprayer.
Experienced plant and tree species identification.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Computer and mapping skills considered an asset.
