, you'll play a key role in helping our teams provide mulch and soil blow-in services across landscaping, commercial, construction and residential projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking for a hands-on role with a variety in their day-to-day work environment!

Chilliwack, BC - will travel to various locations across lower mainland)

ABOUT DENBOW
Denbow started in 1981 as an agricultural supplier. We continue to serve our Agricultural community with supply and installation of animal bedding. Through ambition to expand our services, we also serve a wide array of customers with quality products used in landscaping, construction, erosion and sediment control and more. We manufacture our own soil and mulches that we transform from recycled forest residuals.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform daily inspections, operate trucks and machinery per Denbow procedures, and complete minor maintenance in compliance with WorkSafe BC standards.
Install products according to scope, meet timelines, and look for continuous improvements in process and performance.
Accurately maintain logs, inspection reports, and timekeeping records.
Collaborate with team members, clients, contractors, and supervisors in a respectful and professional manner.
Adhere to all company and regulatory safety policies, and report hazards, incidents, or defects promptly.
WHAT YOU BRING
A valid Class 3 Driver's License with a clean Driver's Abstract, Class 1 is considered an asset.
Can understand, troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on trucks and equipment. For example: identifying mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure operational safety.
Comfortable working in diverse weather conditions and environments (example: rain, snow, heat, etc.)
Ability to work safely with heavy equipment
Team-oriented, dependable, and proactive attitude
Clear communication and professional presentation
Must successfully complete pre-employment Drug & Alcohol testing (Safety Sensitive Position)
EXTRAS FOR THE ROLE
Frequent walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50lbs
Regular city driving in and around the Fraser Valley - Including downtown Vancouver
Regular installation of product on rooftops - various heights
Good visual acuity and auditory levels required
Ascending and descending ladders
IMPORTANT NOTE
This position is deemed as a Safety Sensitive position and will require negative results for pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing in order to complete offer of employment for anyone who will be operating heavy equipment or company vehicles. In addition, Denbow is a Federally Regulated company, and due to our cross-border business is also bound by DOT Regulations. As all Denbow drivers could be scheduled to take a load across the border at any time, all of our drivers are required to be able to pass random drug on an ongoing basis to comply with these regulations and for staff to be eligible for continued employment.
