About the Role Reporting to the Lead Field Technician, this role is responsible to support environmental data collection at the Faro Mine Remediation Project in Faro, YT. This data collection will include field sampling, data entry, data management, equipment maintenance and related office tasks. Key Responsibilities

• Field sampling and environmental data collection.
• Environmental sampling and preparation of shipments to labs.
• Manipulation of digital environmental data and analysis reports.
• Analyzes and interprets environmental data.
• Preparing and formatting reports.
• Related office tasks, including filing and reception on an as needed basis.
• Special projects as required.
• All other related duties as required.

About You

• 3rd or 4th-year student working towards a diploma in Environmental and Conservation Sciences, Renewable Resource Management or a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a related science.
• Strong organizational skills, problem-solving, and ability to work with confidential documents.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
