Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Environmental Monitor to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for performing field activities and office activities related to the collection, assessment, management, and reporting of environmental data. The work is in a remote area, and you must be able to act independently, exercise sound judgment, and ideally enjoy the outdoors during all seasons. You must also have a strong commitment to conducting work safely.

We are looking for an Environmental Monitor to join our Environmental Team at the FMC in beautiful Yukon Territory. In this position, the successful candidate will experience processes associated with the remediation of one of the largest abandoned mines in Canada. This will be a rotational position (2 or 3-week rotations), approximately 10 hours per day, though up to 12 hours per day seasonally. Housing will be provided but you will be required to prepare your own meals. Transportation to and from Whitehorse to Faro, and daily transportation to and from the mine site will be provided. Faro is about a 4 hour drive to the north east of Whitehorse and currently has a population of about 500 people.
These opportunities typically start on a temporary basis with the potential to move to a regular, full-time position and have a history of people advancing their careers within the organization.
