Job description Project Coordinator (Coquitlam) Matcon Environmental is hiring a Junior Project Manager/Coordinator who will be supporting Project Managers and directly reporting to the Division Manager. The Division Manager has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of project management and Environmental Construction and is ready to mentor the right candidate. The Project Coordinator will be supporting Project Managers and reporting directly to the Environmental Division Manager Duties and Responsibilities

• Project Manager support - provide support to the Division Manager and other Project Managers as needed
• Project Estimation for smaller scale projects via Matcon\xe2\x80\x99s bidding software.
• Project Startup - issuing contracts, requesting insurance and bonds, WCB notices, etc.
• Project Documentation - using Microsoft software to manage labour, materials, and equipment, cost coding, submittals, schedules, meeting minutes, change orders, invoicing, requests for information, etc.
• Document Control \xe2\x80\x93 uploading documents to clients\xe2\x80\x99 document control systems
• Client Interface - attending meetings with project manager and clients to manage project issues and maintain positive working relationships

Qualifications and Experience

• Preferable Post-secondary, technical education (BCIT) or similar in an Environmental, Construction or industry-related program
• Industry Experience \xe2\x80\x93 1-5 years
• Will train a suitable candidate who demonstrates other transferable skills

• Independent - ability to communicate effectively with team and take instruction from Project Manager, but also act authoritatively on your own

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
• Candidate should be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS Project

Wage: \xc2\xb7 $55,000\xe2\x80\x93$75,000 a year dependent on experience \xc2\xb7 Strong performers eligible to participate in the Matcon Bonus Plan Location:
