Envelope Adjuster



ASL Print FX has one opening for a permanent, full-time, Envelope Adjuster; please note this job posting is for an existing vacancy.

Who you are:



Experienced operating envelope, folding, converting or packaging equipment (minimum 3 years). Mechanical mindset and eager to learn. Detailed oriented / problem solver Good communicator (verbal and written skills) Safety-first attitude Team player with good time management skills Ethical worker Computer literate and generally comfortable with technology. Ability to stand for long periods of time in one area and dexterity

Primary responsibilities



Sets up and runs envelope machines. Inspects product on start-up and throughout run. Feeds machine with raw materials; paper, gum and ink. Detects equipment malfunctions and adjusts machine, controls, or control media within capabilities as required to ensure quality of production. Uses mechanical tools and reads measuring devices. Ensures proper use of required personal protective equipment at all times. Maintains a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and at end of the shift. Performs daily, weekly and monthly (scheduled) maintenance and safety checks, as well as fills out required Maintenance log. Ensures outputs meet production schedules, safety and quality standards, as well as customer needs. Resolves work problems and recommending measures to improve productivity, product quality, and safety. Follows manufacturing and processing procedures, sets machine or equipment controls, carries out production and inspection processes as documented. Communicates with Supervisor, Lead Hand and/or Quality Assurance, as needed for any issue that arises during production. Other duties as assigned.
