Entry-Level Wood Finisher / Production Worker

Location: Vancouver, BC

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch break)

Wage: $19-$22/hour (based on experience)

Employment Type: Full-time

We are seeking an Entry-Level Wood Finisher / Production Worker to join our manufacturing team. We produce high-quality wood coatings and prefinished wood products for the construction industry, and this role is a hands-on part of the finishing process.

Responsibilities:

Operate wood sanding machines and wood brushing machines Operate wood staining machines (training provided) Prepare and clean up machines and work areas before/after production runs Assist with material handling and production flow Complete related production paperwork accurately Maintain attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
Assets:

Forklift experience or certification (not required) Experience in woodworking, cabinet making, or manufacturing (asset but not required)
Requirements:

No prior experience required -- full training provided Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions Comfortable working in a busy production environment (noise, dust; PPE provided)
