Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented entry-level Quality Control Technician to support our food safety and quality assurance operations. This role focuses primarily on production floor inspections and ensuring compliance with our Enhanced Food Safety Program. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong observational skills and a hands-on approach to quality control in a food processing plant environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections on the production floor to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Support the implementation of the Enhanced Food Safety Program by monitoring operational practices. Verify cleanliness of equipment and facilities; promptly report and follow up on any deviations. Assist in identifying, implementing, and auditing corrective actions for food safety concerns. Verify sanitation effectiveness and escalate any cleaning issues or microbial risks. Conduct scheduled microbiological swabbing (e.g., equipment, drains) and interpret results. Participate in investigations of customer complaints and help implement necessary corrective measures. Provide food safety guidance to production staff and support ongoing training initiatives. Contribute to GMP and facility audits to ensure operational standards are met. Promote a culture of safety and quality throughout the production process. Perform other QA/QC duties as assigned by the Food Safety and QA Manager.

Requirements

Diploma or degree in Food Safety, Microbiology, Chemistry, Nutrition or a related field preferred. Strong organizational, coordination, and time management skills. Fluent in both English and Chinese will be a strong plus. Available to work weekend shifts as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 40 per week
