Western Dispatch is growing, and we're looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Service Department in an entry-level role. No prior industry experience is required. What is Service?



The Service Team is the front line of our operations, supporting both drivers and clients to keep shipments moving smoothly. They handle order entry, verification, and delivery monitoring while assisting with problem-solving in real time. As the central link between customers, drivers, dispatch, and warehouse, the team ensures accuracy, clear communication, and fast resolution of issues.

Job Functions



Order Entry - Enter orders received by phone or email into our system accurately and on time. Order Verifications - Review and authorize order changes submitted by drivers, including piece counts, weights, or service levels. Client Assistance / Customer Service - Assist clients with questions, updates, and issue resolution to ensure smooth delivery service. Driver Assistance - Support drivers in the field with order details, delivery information, and problem-solving as needed. Other Duties as Assigned - Perform additional tasks as required to support the Service Team and overall operations.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn Strong attention to detail and accuracy Clear and professional communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration Problem-solving ability with quick, practical thinking General computer literacy and ability to pick up new systems quickly Familiarity with logistics, transportation, or warehouse work is an asset, but not required
