and play a key role in supporting the success of TIES' Entrepreneurship Programs. This position is responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations, including participant enrollment and support, advisor matching, and the planning of workshops and networking events. The Coordinator will also ensure strong communication with stakeholders, track program progress, and contribute to long-term program development and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Participant Management
Enroll participants and conduct comprehensive needs assessments to tailor program support.
Template Development
Develop standardized templates for interviews, needs assessments, and exit surveys to ensure consistency and effective evaluation.
Advisor Coordination
Match participants with suitable advisors from partner organizations.
Maintain regular follow-ups with participants and advisors to track progress and adjust support as needed.
Program Facilitation
Plan and coordinate six group workshops and networking events.
Step in to facilitate sessions when required.
Ensure all program activities align with project goals and timelines.
Stakeholder Communication
Maintain ongoing communication with partner organizations.
Provide regular updates on program progress, challenges, and successes.
Project Administration
Support administrative tasks, including scheduling, record-keeping, and resource management.
Prepare and submit reports on program outcomes, including participant demographics, business performance metrics, and feedback.
Evaluation and Reporting
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as:
Number of participants enrolled
Number of events and sessions conducted
Business outcomes (e.g., revenue growth, job creation, market expansion)
Contribute to the development of future funding models and potential program expansion.

Strong understanding of Calgary's entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.
Awareness of challenges faced by underrepresented entrepreneurs, including newcomers, immigrants, and low-income Canadians.
Familiarity with tech-enabled business models, entrepreneurship support frameworks, and the local business environment.

Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with participants, advisors, and partners.
Proficiency in needs assessment and advisor-participant matching processes.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in program coordination, project management, or a similar role, ideally within the non-profit or entrepreneurship support sectors.
Experience working with underrepresented groups (immigrants, women, low-income individuals) is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Calgary's business and innovation landscape is an asset.
