About the company: Inside the Magic is the number #1 site online for Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Universal Studios, and more. Plus movie news for all of your favorite Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars films, covering the most interesting, entertaining, and unique entertainment experiences in the worlds of theme parks, movies, TV, video games, conventions, special events, and so much more. About the role: We are looking for an Entertainment Writers who will help us create engaging content about the world of Marvel, Star Wars, and other entertainment franchises. The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of these franchises and be able to produce content that educates, entertains and inspires our readers. As an Entertainment Writer, you will be responsible for researching and writing articles, interviews, and reviews about the latest developments in the franchises. You will also have the opportunity to cover news and events related to the franchises. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest news and trends in these franchises, and be able to identify and explore topics that are both timely and interesting. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently. An understanding of SEO and social media is also highly desirable. We are looking for someone who is passionate about their work, and who is able to bring creativity and enthusiasm to the role. We are looking to hire Part- Time or Full-Time Contractors for this role.
We are looking for someone in the US or Europe time zones, and the hours must be between 3am Eastern (which is 9am in Paris) and 6pm Eastern (which is midnight in Paris). Writers do not need to be available during all of these hours. They are free to choose a schedule during the day that works for them as long as it\'s within this range of time. Content submitted for publication each day after 6pm Eastern and before 3am Eastern will not be accepted. This role is perfect for you if you are\xe2\x80\xa6

• A passionate fan of Marvel, Star Wars, and other entertainment franchises
• A skilled Entertainment writer who enjoys crafting captivating stories and sharing your knowledge of pop culture

Responsibilities:

• Writing at least 25 articles per week, every week (articles typically contain 400-600 words)
• Writing an average of 40 hours per week, including one day every other weekend
• Researching and staying up-to-date with the latest news and trends in the Marvel, Star Wars, and other entertainment franchises
• Writing articles, interviews, and reviews about the latest developments in the entertainment franchises
• Identifying and exploring topics that are both timely and interesting
• Writing content that educates, entertains, and inspires readers
• Participating in brainstorming sessions to come up with fresh and innovative ideas
• Communicating with other writers and editors to ensure accuracy and consistency of content
• Maintaining an understanding of the industry, including new technologies, trends, and developments
• Ensuring all content meets the highest standards and complies with the company\'s publishing guidelines
