About the Job

We are looking for an Enterprise Sales Director. The mission of the Director, Enterprise Sales is to successfully execute against the Enterprise Channel Partner acquisition strategy. This individual is a proven enterprise sales leader, thriving in a high-growth environment with a proven track record of defining and executing a detailed sales strategy and expanding sales to new markets. He or she is tasked with acquiring new customers across multiple verticals and contributing to their growth trajectory.

This includes prospecting, engaging, qualifying, and ultimately closing new enterprise level channel partners with a minimum expected ACV of $150,000. This individual will be responsible for executing a highly solution-oriented sales strategy, and leveraging a framework that aligns individual prospect needs with Vendasta\'s multiple and complex value propositions. He or she will work closely with Enterprise prospects and partners defining all aspects of their relationship with Vendasta. This includes creating and executing upon go-to-market strategies that will deliver upon sustainable post-launch revenue growth.

The impact you\'ll have

  • Drive pipeline growth through strong follow-up and engagement of prospects
  • Understand and demonstrate product knowledge to the customer and/or prospect
  • Conduct cold call prospecting outreach, warm lead follow up and nurturing
  • Research and build target account pipeline using LinkedIn and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to understand pain points and call into prospects to generate potential leads
  • Maintain accurate prospect updates in CRM
  • Working closely with Marketing to follow up campaigns, event/booth visits as well as digital leads in a timely manner, converting into sales opportunities
  • Research and prepare tailored presentations for prospective channel partners
  • Professionally deliver formal presentations to key decision-makers
  • Understand & stay up-to-date with partner industries, competitive differentiators, technical requirements, and demonstrate Vendasta\'s value proposition
  • Negotiate and close all phases of engagements, including review and preparation of channel partner agreements
  • Develop trust-based relationships with leaders across the business, including Product & Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Sales Engineering and Customer Excellence Success
The value you\'ll bring
  • 4+ years business development experience with 2+ years experience in closing B2B sales; experience in media sales considered an asset
  • Act as a thought-leader and advocate for Vendasta across the industry, building and maintaining relationships with other influential stakeholders to help build Vendasta\'s reputation and brand.
  • Ability to consistently achieve or exceed predetermined sales goals
  • Familiarity with technical concepts and ability to learn quickly
  • Exceptional phone, written, and interpersonal skills; world-class presentation skills
  • Energetic, upbeat, highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Obsessively organized and capable of handling several projects simultaneously
  • Resourceful and curious individual with a sharp intellect and the ability to pick things up quickly
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales objectives leading enterprise SaaS sales teams by winning new business and driving substantial growth
  • Demonstrated competence in effectively engaging and developing value based relationships with C-level executives
  • Demonstrated understanding of a variety of sales methodologies (e.g. The Challenger Sale, Solution Selling, etc.)
  • Self-motivated; highly driven to produce results.
