Responsibilities
Data Architecture & Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to define, document, and architect comprehensive enterprise data warehouse solutions
Data Integration: Source and integrate data from multiple Insurance and Reinsurance Policy, Treaty, Claims, and financial systems
Mapping & Modeling: Design and implement Source to Target mappings optimized for high-volume data integration; create logical and physical data models on SQL Server platforms
Development Collaboration: Partner with development teams to ensure accurate translation of mappings into code and validate post-deployment changes
Data Strategy: Develop data collection and ingestion strategies; write SQL-based solutions to validate data accuracy and integrity
Reporting Support: Analyze and design enterprise data models for optimal reporting; support reporting teams in understanding and utilizing the data warehouse effectively
Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot and optimize SQL and Informatica mappings, stored procedures, and develop SQL Server views for reporting and dashboards
Requirements
10+ years of data architecture and design experience with enterprise data warehouse development
3+ years of experience within the Insurance and Reinsurance domain
Advanced experience extracting data from Insurance applications
Extensive knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL, and BI Architectures, concepts, and frameworks
Proficiency in creating and tuning Semantic layer Reporting Views
Experience with RDBMS platforms (SQL Server, DB2, etc.) and DDL generation
Knowledge of Guidewire Policy Center, Guidewire Claims Center, SAP FS-CD & SAP FI-GL applications
Nice to have
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in team environments
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Experience facilitating data discovery sessions with business subject matter experts
