We are hiring an Enterprise Architect to join the Fiix Software Operations Department within Rockwell Automation. Reporting to the VP, Saas Operations, the Enterprise Architect leads an experienced team and guides the evolution of our cloud platform, solutions, and data services. Responsible for the Enterprise Suite, you ensure Marketing, Revenue and Finance remain the organizational pillars of our efficient SaaS Go-To-Market engine. The Enterprise Architect is hardwired to drive change and is comfortable working closely with executives to help set direction for the future of software selling within the company. You will also be relied on to help refine and advance the cross-functional Agile system that aligns the entire Operations team towards a common goal.

What you will do:

  • Lead a multi-year data architecture modernization program (currently underway), ensuring the target architecture is appropriate to serve our needs as the organization evolves.
  • Strategically direct the end-to-end technology stack, minimizing technical debt and maximizing flexibility and the adoption of best-in-class tools.
  • Build a cohesive Enterprise software roadmap and created alignment with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams from around the organization.
  • Provide expertise on cloud and hybrid-cloud data solutions and the deployment of exemplary architecture and design principles.
  • Develop the architecture governance framework and lead the process to ensure compliance and adherence to architectural standards to ensure future value in decisions made today.
  • Understand the key interdependencies between the Technology Capability Future State Plan components that will enable the infrastructure, data analytics, and other core platforms (e.g., DevOps)
  • Design solutions in a lean/agile way with consideration of: scalability, resilience, partner interfaces, security (risks and threats, authentication, authorization), data validation, representation and storage, and tuning and testing using automated testing patterns and tools.
  • Own architectural planning and implementation across Salesforce, Netsuite and Marketing automation platforms.
  • Plan systems, workflows, data consumption in line with our data analytics strategy for continuous improvement through data driven decisions.
  • Maintain platform architecture requirements based on changing technologies/solutions, and knowledge related to recent, current, and upcoming vendor products and solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience developing enterprise integrations and architecture design.
  • Proven mentor and coach, able to influence the team to deliver well architected solutions.
  • Ability to contribute to technical problem solving from both a high-level design perspective and at the detailed code level.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture and development combined with ability to satisfy complex business needs and support end users.
  • Experience working with Netsuite and Marketing Automation Platforms (MAP) in an enterprise environment.
  • Considerable experience with DevOps tools and methodologies.
  • Motivated by supporting the growth of a company through data analytics.
  • Research based and prototype proven work style, to drive best in class solutions to complex infrastructure architecture problems.
  • Passion for integrating systems to build powerful tools.
  • Experience with programming languages (e.g., Apex code, SQL).
  • Familiarity with MuleSoft, Gainsight, Dell Boomi or general piping tools.
  • Experience with building visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Vision, Signavio, \xe2\x80\xa6).
  • Ability to build and tune data store technologies.
