This is a 12 week contract role. This contract may be extended, upon approval, and could turn into a full-time role, depending on campus requirements. Please note this position is
Monday to Friday, between 10:00 - 4:00pm, 6 hours per day. Flexibility of shift day to day is a necessity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in the age appropriate environment rating scale annually
Interacts with Ministry staff and other regulators around licensing requirements for inspection purposes
Follows the Centre's Quality Assurance Cycle when using program evaluation tools
Provides positive social experiences
Facilitates and understanding of a variety of cultures and value systems
Provides a physically safe and emotionally supportive environment
Implement emergency procedures
Attending to the child's physical needs
Actively participates in required training sessions within Childventures curriculum and community sponsored professional development
Provide age-appropriate programs to enhance the children's cognitive, physical, social and emotional development.
Prepare weekly program plans meeting all requirements of curriculum
Daily observations
Maintain child records
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in an Early Childhood Educator position is an asset

+ RECE Registered Early Childhood Educator
+ ECE Early Childhood Educator
+ CYW Child Youth Worker
+ CYC Child and Youth Care
+ ECA Early Childhood Assistant
+ EA Educational Assistant
MINISTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
