W

e are looking for a person to assist in the creation and engraving of beautiful award items which may be wood, metal, glass, crystal and acrylic, through the use of traditional engravers and laser engravers. This includes computer graphic layout from basic to creative, preparing award items for engraving, sand carving or heat transfer and completing the award projects on time and with a high degree of accuracy.

An understanding of graphics software through experience. The more the experience the better.

A quick learner of software programs.

Printing industries, framing, awards, and event planning

Duties:

Create layouts in graphics programs

Call up past layouts from our database and maintain integrity of layouts

Transfer new data to an existing layout

Prepare the material for engraving

Carefully engrave each piece ensuring our quality standards are met

Sand Carve crystal and glass pieces

Printing and sorting of certificates

Engraving and maintaining integrity of award items and files.

Work Environment:

Our work is performed in person at our facility in Burnaby. Most work is not physically taxing, however standing for periods of time occurs while sand carving.
