The Academy for Mathematics & English tutors\xe2\x80\x99 students from SK to grade 12 in English. We are currently recruiting Enthusiastic & Knowledgeable candidates to be our High School English tutor for our BRAMPTON (West) location. IN-PERSON TUTORING at the Academy. The Ideal Candidate is: * Passionate about teaching. Is bright, enthusiastic, motivated, good-natured, positive and inspiring to students
* Able to make learning enjoyable, motivate and reinforce a positive outlook on education
* Is results driven - believes that all students can understand and achieve success
* Is organized, reliable, consistent and confident : Tutor must be able to tutor English from grades 1 to grade 12 with an emphasis on High School English. Must be able to tutor the following subject areas: Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Writing, Essay Writing/Structure Also tutor Math from grades 1 to grade 8.

• Tutors work with the same students on a daily/weekly basis
• Sessions are held in the evenings and/or weekends
• Tutors are not required to prepare lesson plans and the teaching curriculum is provided
• This is a permanent part-time position

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a degree in the related fields or currently studying in them
• Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English.
• A minimum of 1-year tutoring experience
• Candidates must be available Monday to Friday from 3.30pm. to 7:30pm. and Saturday from 10:00am. to 1:00pm.
• Candidates must be available to do In-Person Tutoring.
