SJR is an independent co-educational Kindergarten to Grade 12 university-preparatory day school that prepares students for university and the challenges of the world beyond. We invite applications for the following position:

Middle School English Language Arts Teacher

Full-time (1.0 EFT) term position to commence September 2025

The successful candidate will work with a strong team of teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment for our students. They will demonstrate superior teaching ability for English Language Arts courses. The successful candidate will embrace contemporary teaching and learning practices and be committed to ongoing professional growth. Furthermore, the successful candidate will carry out planning, lesson delivery, assessment and student support as well as communicate with parents, advisors, in a timely and effective manner. The candidate will be part of a dynamic campus environment where highly motivated students and dedicated staff combine to create a vital, inclusive community culture. The successful candidate will also deliver student programming, including advisory/homeroom and co-curricular contributions

The candidate must hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate or be eligible to obtain one.

Pay: $72,586.00-$126,481.00 per year
