Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate English Teacher to help students prepare for IELTS and CELPIP exams. This role is ideal for teachers who can work independently, using ready-to-teach curriculum and materials.

Responsibilities

Design and implement effective lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating various teaching methods and learning technologies Deliver engaging classroom instruction to students of different ages and skill levels, including adult education and special education populations Assess student progress regularly through assignments, tests, and presentations, providing constructive feedback to support growth Develop customized curriculum materials that cater to diverse learning styles and needs Provide effective exam strategies and learning support

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent teaching certification preferred Proven experience in IELTS or CELPIP preparation Experience working with diverse learners, including adult education students and those requiring special education accommodations Familiarity with learning technology tools used for teaching and assessment purposes Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage students effectively Ability to adapt teaching strategies based on student needs and learning styles Mandarin proficiency is an asset, as many of our students are Chinese speakers
Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $25.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 10 per week
