Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and academic growth. This role requires a strong ability to communicate effectively, educate diverse learners, and create lesson plans that cater to various learning styles. The English Teacher will also play a crucial role in developing students' writing skills and critical thinking abilities.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Teach English language arts, including reading, writing, grammar, and literature. Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Create a supportive classroom environment that promotes student participation and collaboration. Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, including special education needs. Organize tutoring sessions for students needing additional support in English language skills. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and classroom activities. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress reports. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.

Experience

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

A degree in English, Education, or a related field is preferred. Experience in classroom teaching or tutoring is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and student records efficiently. Proficiency in proofreading and editing written materials to guide students in their writing endeavors. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students and parents. A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment for all students.
