We are launching a new English proficiency school dedicated to helping students improve their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills for academic, professional, and personal success. Our programs are designed for both local and international learners preparing for English assessments such as IELTS, CELPIP, or TOEFL.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and driven

School Manager

to oversee all operations of our English proficiency school. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in both education and business management, capable of running day-to-day operations while ensuring exceptional learning experiences for our students.

Responsibilities

Oversee the entire school's operations, including staff, schedules, and student services. Develop and implement teaching standards, curriculum plans, and testing procedures. Recruit, train, and manage teachers and administrative staff. Handle admissions, inquiries, and parent/student communications. Manage budgets, payroll, and other financial aspects of the business. Ensure compliance with provincial regulations and maintain a safe, inclusive environment. Drive enrollment and retention through marketing and community outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Business, or a related field. Proven experience in school or education program management. Strong understanding of English language testing (IELTS, CELPIP, TOEFL, etc.). Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Business acumen -- comfortable managing operations, staff, and budgets. Passion for education and student success.
