Job Description

The Iranian Event Institution is seeking a qualified and dynamic English Language Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction in CELPIP, IELTS, and Conversational English. The successful candidate will be fluent in both English and Farsi, enabling effective communication and support for our Persian-speaking learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging lessons tailored to CELPIP, IELTS, and conversational English learning objectives. Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to guide improvement. Develop instructional materials, practice tests, and interactive activities aligned with exam standards. Use bilingual (English-Farsi) support when needed to enhance student comprehension and success. Create a culturally inclusive and motivating classroom environment. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive educational community.
Qualifications & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or related field preferred. TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) - required. Additional certifications such as TESOL, CELTA, or DELTA - strong assets. IELTS Teacher Training or CELPIP Instructor Certification preferred. Proven teaching experience in exam preparation and conversational English. Native proficiency in English, with fluency in Farsi. At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in exam preparation and conversational English.

Pay: $19.00-$26.00 per hour
