Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment that encourages students to develop their language skills and a love for literature. This role requires effective communication, reading and writing skills, able to do read alouds and novel studies to childrens.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with advanced curriculum standards. Educate students in reading, writing, grammar, and literature along with novel studies. Perform read alouds and encourage reading to students. Able to implement split grades with minimum assistance Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles Provide additional support to students who require extra assistance. Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and classroom participation. Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and classroom activities. Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts clearly. Experience in tutoring or teaching is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities and student records. A passion for educating young minds and fostering a love for the English language.

Pay: $17.25-$20.00 per hour
