- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in various subjects
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to individual student needs
- Collaborate with other tutors/teachers and share best practices
- Evaluate and track student progress
- Provide feedback to students and parents
- Certified to teach grades 9-12
- 3+ years of teaching experience teaching English Language Arts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Passion for education and helping students reach their full potential
- Additional certifications or experiences in ESL, IELTS, Advanced Placement (AP)
- Background in tutoring or preparing students for contests
- Flexible schedule
- Work from home
