Position:

English Instructor

We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to teach and support students in English. This role also offers the opportunity to develop and design engaging teaching materials tailored to students' needs.

Responsibilities

Teach and support students in English, focusing on reading, writing, and comprehension Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials Assign and mark homework and tests Track and evaluate student progress, providing feedback to students and/or parents Identify and adapt to students' individual learning needs Report student progress to the program director

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. English, Education, Linguistics) Current university students will be considered for Assistant Instructor positions Strong command of English and the ability to explain concepts clearly Excellent understanding of BC's elementary and high school English curriculum Ability to simplify complex content for student understanding Strong organizational and time management skills
