Reporting to the Project Manager, Electric Power the Engineering Technologist is primarily responsible for supporting the electrical and control team. Developing technical documentation for plant control panels, interconnect lists, cable/breaker schedules, electrical block diagrams and some 2D design work.

Duties must be performed consistent with company mission and values and adherence to company policies and procedures.

With a foundation of integrity, the candidate would use commitment and creativity to drive our organization forward. This position is based out of the Enerflex\'s Mississauga, Ontario branch location.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties:

• Review device and equipment specification sheets to extract related interconnect information.
• Develop control systems operation manuals and related documentation.
• Produce electrical block diagrams and interconnect schematics.
• Develop BOM for electrical and control equipment.
• Produce electrical scope of work for contractor to provide project proposals.
• Update electrical and 2D layout drawings out of red lined for construction document.
• Develop project cable schedules.
• Using Autocad produce control panel drawings.
• Red line drawings at end of the job to provide accurate information for As-Built drawings.
• Reviews O&M manuals and ensure accuracy.
• Occasional travel to customer offices and sites.

Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma.
• Relevant electrical/automation and control knowledge.
• Knowledge of common codes used in electrical and control design.
• Strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills are mandatory with demonstrated focus on quality, accuracy and thoroughness.
• Open to travel.
