Job Description

Responsibilities:

Create 3D models for valve parts and assembly as per engineer instruction. Modify 3D models for existing design as per engineer instruction. Make detailed and assembly drawings for production. Make drawings for sales team and quotation. Collect data from drawings and CAD parts such dimension, volume. Prepare views and presentation using CAD software for marketing team. Prepare BOM for different type of valves. Do any other activities to support engineering team such physical parts measurement or standard parts selections(fasteners, fittings, ...) or rough material dimensions calculation (bar, plate, tube,...). Technical support to other departments (production, sales, operation. quality) under chief engineer supervision. Participate to technical report redaction. Assist Engineering for any daily tasks.

Education/Qualification:

College Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering A minimum of three years experience in manufacturing field A minimum of five years experience in 3D modeling and technical drafting

Skills and Person-Profile:

Excellent knowledge in technical drawings (Essential) Experience in Industrial Valves Design (An asset) Very good communication skills (Essential) Team oriented (Essential) Independent Spoken and written English (Essential) Spoken and Written French (an asset)

Software:

AutoCAD (Mandatory), Creo PTC (Optional), Microsoft Office (Mandatory)

Pay: From $17.80 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
