BIOVECTRA Inc. is a leading bio-science business in Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, focused on contract manufacturing and product development of active pharmaceutical ingredients, pharmaceutical intermediates, and bioreagents.
BIOVECTRA Inc. has an opening for an Engineering Student. This is an 8 month work term located in Windsor, NS.
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Prepare turn-over packages and commissioning packages for new equipment and systems as well as preparing retrospective packages for existing equipment.
- Prepare qualification protocols for equipment and system installations to verify performance under specified operating conditions.
- Execute commissioning and qualification packaged in part or in whole.
- Assist in installation activities.
- Up-date As-built drawings in AutoCAD while following change control procedures.
- Prepare surface area calculations for new equipment.
- Prepare maintenance binders for new equipment.
- Participate in various aspects of new equipment and system design projects.
- Organize EQP filing system.
- Organize and archive CAD drawings.
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program.
