The Engineering Project Manager drives the design, coordination, and delivery of hyperscale and AI data center projects, ensuring engineering, construction, and operations are aligned, on schedule, and compliant with performance, quality, and sustainability standards.

Responsibilities of the Engineering Project Manager - Data Centers:
Manage the full lifecycle of hyperscale and AI data center projects, from concept and design to commissioning and turnover
Plan and oversee project scope, budgets, schedules, and resources in coordination with engineering and construction teams
Direct vendor and contractor activities, ensuring alignment with company standards and client requirements
Coordinate the design, review, and approval of power, cooling, and network systems, including high-density AI workloads
Partner with commissioning teams to validate system performance, redundancy, and compliance with Tier III/IV standards
Serve as the primary liaison with internal teams and external partners, providing updates, risk assessments, and proactive issue resolution
Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards while implementing continuous improvement strategies
Qualifications for the Engineering Project Manager - Data Centers:
Bachelor's degree in electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management of data centers, cloud infrastructure, or mission-critical facilities
Proven track record managing hyperscale or high-density AI infrastructure builds (e.g., 10MW+ deployments)
Familiarity with Uptime Institute Tier Standards, ASHRAE TC9.9, NEC, NFPA 70E, and related engineering codes
Strong understanding of MEP systems, redundancy, and advanced cooling solutions
Proficiency with project management tools and engineering design software
Experience integrating automation, monitoring, and control systems for high-performance computing environments
Bilingual (French & English) preferred
Familiarity with both Canadian and U.S. compliance frameworks
