The Role
As a Manager of the Data Platform, you will lead a team of talented data engineers in building and maintaining our data platform, which includes real-time microservices & infrastructure for our complex data warehouse. In both cases, our stakeholders are both internal and external and require high quality & robustness due to their business critical impact.
You will be responsible for defining the technical roadmap and translating it into sprint by sprint bases. You should advocate for ensuring system reliability and security, and fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and people leadership to deliver a secure and dependable experience for our users. You will work closely with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable and resilient platform solutions.
Meet the Team
Our Data Platform Services team manages terraform infrastructure for the data department, and builds microservices that are used in production. Tech stack includes: Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Terraform, Dataflow, Cloud Healthcare API, Cloud Composer (Airflow) infrastructure.
