Overview


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Engineering Manager

to lead our engineering team. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of Product & Process Engineering Specialists to ensure technical excellence, and foster innovation within the organization. This role offers an opportunity to influence product development, improve processes, and drive strategic initiatives in a collaborative environment. The Engineering Manager will play a critical role in aligning engineering efforts with company goals, managing cross-functional teams, and mentoring a team of dedicated engineers.

Roles and Responsibilities:



Lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver Documents, Tools and programs for Manufacturing of PCBA and Mechanical assemblies.

Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Quality Assurance and Operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure new standards are defined using Lean Manufacturing principles. Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

Technical Leadership



Provide technical guidance and support in hardware, documentation and programs development

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Strategic Planning



Contribute to long-term engineering strategy aligned with company goals.

Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance product offerings.

General Responsibilities & Qualifications:



Must be committed to upholding KCS's manufacturing standards and Lean Manufacturing Principles, company Policies and Procedures, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Work Instructions (QWI) and Continuous Improvement opportunities. Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or related field); Master's degree preferred Proven experience in engineering management or leadership roles within a relevant industry Strong technical expertise with a track record of managing complex projects from conception to completion Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments and with stakeholders Proficiency in project management tools and software Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions under tight deadlines Nice-to-have skills include experience with CAD software, Lean or Six Sigma methodologies, or familiarity with regulatory standards such as ISO or OSHA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
