We have an exciting opportunity for multiple Engineering students to join our growing team as part of our Internship Program on one of the most exciting construction projects in the city of Calgary -- the landmark Scotia Place project that will shape the future of Calgary's urban landscape. There are boundless opportunities available for development during your internship as well as your professional development. CANA has a strong commitment to offering full time positions to interns upon graduating, with over half of our Engineers in the Construction team having previously completed their internship with us.
The Role
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in large-scale commercial construction, working alongside industry leaders and contributing to a project that will leave a lasting legacy. Interns will be immersed in a dynamic project environment, gaining exposure to complex construction processes and contributing meaningfully to a monumental project.
As a CANA Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to develop skills in:
Project/Construction management;
Estimating;
Budget preparation and job cost control;
Scheduling and risk management;
Safety management;
Quality control management;
Business development and client/consultant/subcontractor relations.
What You Bring
:
Will have completed their 3rd year of Engineering;
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Excellent documentation and organizational skills;
Strong computer skills.
