Description :

The Engineering and validation Intern supports capitalization, validation and improvement of production processes to increase the efficiency of equipment, buildings, and systems on different sites. He / she is responsible for the project and ensures that all steps of the project are followed in accordance with current procedures (Health and Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, etc.). The intern must ensure rigorous monitoring of the quality, timing and budget of the project. He / she coordinates the activities of all stakeholders: professionals, contractors, consultants, regulatory dept., as well as liaising with internal clients. The intern will also write, execute and review validation protocols for various equipment and systems.

Responsabilities & Duties :

• Makes sure the project\xe2\x80\x99s budget and deadlines respects of the Capital Plan (to be determined - depending on the site, specialization, department, etc.).
• Writes and executes the validation protocols
• Plans projects to be carried out with clients, professionals, contractors to minimize the impact on operations
• Follows-up on work: inspection, schedules, meetings, communications
• Manages various projects aimed at improving the operations and internal logistics of the company
• Analyzes the use of production equipment, use of labor and machinery in order to improve the profitability of operations
• Completes plan updates on AutoCAD
• Provides leadership role as project manager
• Assists the Project Engineer with any related management task

Working conditions & Physical environment :

• Office and plant work
• Occasionally on construction sites

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to manage pressure and adapt to changes
• Bilingual French & English (spoken, read & written)
• Good sense of communication and urgency (priority management)
• Encourage exchanges and teamwork
• Mastering IT tools such as MS Office, AutoCAD ans Ms Project
