The Broadway Subway Project Corporation (BSPC) is an Acciona-Ghella general partnership to deliver a 5.7 km extension of the Millennium Line, from VCC-Clark Station to Broadway and Arbutus. Once complete, it will provide fast, frequent and convenient service to B.C.'s second largest jobs center, world-class health services, an emerging innovation and research hub, and growing residential communities.
Summary
We are seeking an Engineering Co-op to join our team in the exciting Broadway Subway Project located in Vancouver, BC. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of our project, contributing to the development of a vital transportation link that will serve the community and enhance mobility across the region.

Responsibilities
You will work with Broadway Subway Project Construction team, reporting directly to a Senior Engineer/Architect/Station Manager/Geotechnical Engineer and working alongside our diverse team of professionals. You will be involved in a wide variety of activities, supporting our operations.
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience, learning how to apply the skills and knowledge you've acquired through your education in a professional setting. You will be exposed to and participate in a variety of functions depending on the role you are assigned, such as:
Technical/Design/BIM
RFQ/RFP preparation
Procurement
Commercial
Estimating & Quantity Takeoffs
Scheduling & Planning
Cost Control
Quality, Health, Safety & Environment
Construction Management
Geotechnical
Other
Experience / Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a university or technical college program in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Geotechnical, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated interest in large-scale infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, tunnels, geometric design, and pavement engineering.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
Experience with Revit, BIM, and AutoCAD considered an asset.
Proficient in the use of computer systems and related software.
